S1 Episode #10💛 Keep Calm and...Trust That it is Good for You to Spend Time with YOU, says healer and yogi Josephine McGrail [13-min listen]

“Energetically we are rising and expanding so much faster than ever before, and so many doors are opening if we just look for the opportunities.” - Josephine McGrail

Today's guest is Josephine McGrail, a London-based healer, yogi, wellness coach, and retreat leader who is spending lockdown in her London Bridge apartment with boyfriend Craig and cat Sky, and whose workshops and experiences have played a huge part in Shelf Help founder TJ’s healing journey.

Danish teacher and healer Josie has become a real beacon of positivity and hope during this extraordinary time, quickly taking her classes and workshops online, including daily 30-minute morning meditation and yoga sessions, and sharing regular spiritual teachings and healing messages on her Instagram account.

In today’s conversation Josephine invites us to:

  • focus on the doors that are opening in our lives right now

  • make the most of this reflective, non-distracted ‘me time’ to harness what we are all about

  • ask ourselves: “How do I want to remember this time?”

  • take control where we can and stick to simple routines like bedtime and getting dressed

  • create new routines around movement and exercise (climbing the stairs, checking out Live classes online for a community vibe)

  • write a gratitude journal to keep our focus where we want it

  • minimise news and social media, only following people we feel inspired by

  • remember that the choices we are making today are creating our tomorrow

ABOUT THE KEEP CALM SERIES - March/April 2020

The Keep Calm, Stay Well series is a collection of bite-sized podcasts from Shelf Help featuring our favourite authors and experts sharing their wellbeing strategies, and designed to help us all find some calm amongst the Coronoavirus chaos.

We want Shelf Help to be a resource to help you guys stay calm, positive and present in these challenging times and so are asking the experts how they are staying well mentally, physically and spiritually.

We’re turning around these interviews pretty quickly from our lo-fi barn in Norfolk BUT these conversations are pure HIGH vibes and packed with useful and inspiring information (and the tech is improving daily so we really appreciate your patience so far).

💛
