We want to make self-help as accessible as possible, and we know that personal transformation doesn’t have to come with a huge price tag, which is why we endeavour to share as much FREE STUFF as we can (yay!), including:

  1. THE ONLINE COMMUNITY

Substack is our new community home on social, a space to bring together everything we used to do on Facebook, WhatsApp and our membership platform AND - very importantly - a place that we can build real connections with like-minded peeps from all over the world as we support each other to heal, learn and grow together (there’s almost 4000 of us from 20 different countries there already).

The basic level is free to join so come on over and say hi… JOIN OUR SUBSTACK GANG HERE

    2. AUTHOR INTERVIEWS + EXPERT CONTENT

We’re lucky enough to work with some of the best writers, publishers and self-help experts in the world and we love to share interviews and info across our YouTube, Podcast and IGTV channels (we recommend starting with a couple of our most popular features: this YouTube interview with Paul McKenna or this lockdown podcast interview with Mo Gawdat).

    3. THE BOTM READALONG

We announce a new self-help book to work through as a community every two months and share all kinds of info across social to help you decide whether it’s the right book for you right now. You can then choose to join our online Book Club OR keep yourself accountable by taking part in our weekly check-ins over on Instagram.

4. BOOK RECOMMENDATIONS

Check out out Previous BOTMs Page for info on all of the titles that we have covered since we launched in October 2017 (that’s a lot of self-help).

5. HOST YOUR OWN BOOK CLUB GUIDE

We run a Certified Host Programme for anyone wanting to join and represent The Shelf Help Club as a local Host in their area, but if that’s not for you and you still fancy starting a self-help book club - our downloadable Getting Started Guide is a quick and easy (and totally FREE) cheat sheet based on everything we’ve learned since the first Shelf Help Club meetup in 2017. Get yours HERE.

6. TONI’s NEWSLETTER

When you sign up to our Substack community you’re also signing up to a weekly newsletter from. Shelf Help founder, Toni, who shares bookish stuff as well as her own lessons & lightbulbs every Monday, SUBSCRIBE HERE.
