BOOK OF THE MONTH: MARCH 2018

I ❤️ ME: THE SCIENCE OF SELF-LOVE

By David R. Hamilton

ABOUT THE BOOK

How much love do you have for yourself? Not the narcissistic 'Aren't I wonderful' kind of love, but the essential regard for self that empowers you and helps you navigate through life. The type of love that enables you to feel safe and secure in who you are and inspires you to make choices that are good for your authentic self.

I Heart Me is a gentle but powerful manual for increasing your self-worth based on the latest research in brain chemistry, neuroscience and psychotherapeutic and personal development techniques, as well as author David's personal journey to self-love.

David says: "Most people spend their time in a state of consciousness that says, 'I'm not good enough.' Many people spend their entire life there." He calls this the 'self-love deficit' and the self-love gym exercises in the book - from 'Celebrate Your Uniqueness' to 'How Much Are You Like Your Parents' - have been designed to guide you through the three stages of self-love:

1. I'm Not Enough

2. I've Had Enough

3. I Am Enough

Until you reach a place of increased self-worth, better connection with yourself and others and a greater sense of happiness and wellbeing.

"Self-love doesn't mean 'love yourself instead of others'. Nor does it mean 'love yourself once you've finished loving others'. It doesn't even mean 'love yourself as well as others'. Others aren't mentioned at all. Love yourself. It's that simple." - David R. Hamilton
